Clocking terminal - Wireless connection to your network.
Wireless Connection (You will need this manual if your terminal come with Wifi) To connect the clocking terminal to your wireless network, firstly power on the clocking terminal.
Depending on the clocking machine either press M/OK, or for any device without buttons tap icon (menu). For the device without buttons, you will need to bring up the keyboard by pressing icon with “6 dots” then the “keyboard” icon. Log in using the username and password provided in the guide supplied with your clocking terminal. Once logged you will see the “Main Menu” and navigate to COMM. - Select “Wireless Network” then scroll down to “Advance”. Please make sure “DHCP” is on Please return to the pervious screen. Please switch on “WIFI” then elect the wireless network you want to connect to. - Input the WIFI Password. For device with buttons, you can change the input method by using the “Right Arrow” on the keyboard. For the device without buttons, you can change the input method by using the onscreen keyboard. It should say connected when successfully connect to the WIFI network. Scroll down to “Advanced” again and take a note of the IP Address given to your device. Critical: - You must reserve this IP address on your router or Windows DHCP server as well or DHCP will re-assign this address elsewhere and system will not work. - On the main screen you should see the Wireless icon in the top right has now changed from No Signal to connected.
